Canon Story: A resigning secret agent is gassed by peoples unknown. He wakes up in a mysterious place known as The Village, where he is assigned the number 6. An ever-rotating procession of Number 2's want to know why he resigned. If they can get him to answer that, they will have begun the process of breaking him. But Number 6 will never break, nor will he ever escape...

Fandom High Story: Number 6 is a highly intelligent, sullen teenager who questions authority at every turn and sees high school as a diabolical contraption designed to homogenize modern youth into a paste agreeable to the palate of the Powers That Be. He will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed, or numbered!
Originally a member of the Class of 2006, he escaped the island in December of that year, only to be captured by Number 2 and subjected to all sorts of mind games to extract the reason for his resignation. When these failed, as they invariably do, Number 6 was returned to Fandom until such time as his tormentors could devise a proper means of persuasion.
Number 6 doesn't like you. Number 6 will probably never like you. You're a tool of the conspiracy or, worse, a willing victim. He finds both equally sickening.
